Welcome to Pontardawe Heritage & Visitor Centre, a captivating venue established in 2018 that invites you to unwind while delving into the rich history and culture of the Pontardawe region. Housed within a meticulously preserved historic building, Pontardawe Heritage & Visitor Centre serves as a haven for exploration and learning.

See the Transformation of Pontardawe Heritage and Visitor Centre

The building’s derelict days in between being ‘The Stables’ and ‘Pontardawe’s Public Library’ during the 1970’s. It’s original use was to serve the canal wharf that used to extend where Little Steps childcare is now situated. It’s last use, 2016 served the Ponty Youth Club and Menter Iaith office.
